ABOUT CITRUS TIES
Citrus ties’ main goal is to redefine the accessory “tie” and convert it into an integral piece of modern men’s wardrobe, making it ideal for any hour of the day. As the casual style is increasingly gaining ground in the working world, it’s the untamed men with attitude and smart look who are knotting up.
Each tie is part of a unique collection and comes from a particular piece of fabric, selected with excessive attention to quality, design and texture. Fabrics are selected after a long pursuit in warehouses of old dry goods stores in Athens and Piraeus, and a limited number of ties are then made by hand.
The novelty of the proposal lies on the particular design (square form), the aesthetic and materials, as well as on the additional metal details (aluminium), the quality and way of construction.

Who is Daniel Wellington?
The story behind Daniel Wellington begins with a trip half way around the globe where Filip Tysander, the founder of Daniel Wellington, met an intriguing gentleman from the British Isles. The man had the inspiring ability to be genteel but still relaxed and unpretentious. He had an impeccable style and loved to wear his watches on old weathered NATO straps. His name? Well, Daniel Wellington, of course.
A strong friendship emerged between the two, and our founder was inspired not only by the man's many great life stories but also by his class and timeless style of fashion.
The preppy trend is bigger than ever before but we felt that there was an empty space in the watch market. There was something missing and the Daniel Wellington team aims to fill that gap.
Our vision is that when someone thinks of a preppy dressed person, he or she is wearing a Daniel Wellington watch.
When Filips line of watches then came to be launched, it was therefore no insecurity that the brand would be named after Daniel Wellington.
The Design
Daniel Wellington loved to wear his watches on old NATO straps. We liked the idea and feel of the mix so much that we wanted to incorporate the idea into our own line of watches. We felt it important to make the watch thin and elegant – we wanted a clean design, without too many features, that would look good with the different patterns and colours of the iconic NATO straps.
After returning from his trip, Filip sat down and started looking at different combination he liked himself. It was important that he loved the watch personally, or he knew that he could never sell it and be proud of it.
Slowly but surely, a beautiful watch emerged. It was thin, refined and perfectly round. It was minimalistic and without too many features.
We believe that the traditional, yet crisp design blends together perfectly with the colourful NATO strap and elegant leather strap who will appeal to almost everyone with a sense for classic and timeless design.
The NATO strap
NATO straps originate from the British navy, where divers would use the strong nylon straps over their wet suits. Even though they were originally made to avoid rust, we love the look and versatility of them. That is why we wanted to create a line of different straps with different colours and patterns – but all with a strong bond to the British Isles.
The leather strap
Personalize your DW watch. Each and one of our watches have interchangeable straps which makes every watch unique. Our leather straps are made of genuine italian quality leather and available in brown and black with a silver or GOLD plated brace.

The Daniel Wellington watch is without any doubt suitable for every occasion. Regardless if you are attending a black tie event, playing a game of tennis or enjoying a sunny day at the beach club – the Daniel Wellington is a beautiful companion.
All of our watch faces are specially designed and developed so that they go perfectly with the thin NATO and leather straps you can order them with. As all of our straps are interchangeable, you can have a different watch for every day of the week.
